In collaboration with Mike Caemmerer, Director of the Theatre Dept. of the American Embassy School in New Delhi, India, and sponsored by the U.S. Dept. of State, the show was based on notions set forth in the book, 'Songlines,' by Bruce Chatwin, wherein themes of 'home' were negotiated against the backdrop of the Australian Outback and the Aboriginal people. Krista wrote all of the music, lyrical content and sound effect tracks, as well as contributing to the structural elements of the piece. With Caemmerer, who directed the show, the students wrote storyline, dialogue, and scene within the structure - creating, step-by-step, their own 'songlines' home.
